In 1938 the Edwards Company finished construction of a very unique and special Business Car for the General Manager of the United Fruit Co.

This one of a kind ERC was complete with bedroom, water closet with shower, galley, office furniture, dining arrangements, air conditioning and all the modern comforts and luxuries that would be found on any standard private rail car.

This car was in service until the early 1970's and was recently located on an over grown siding in Guatemala. Records and mechanical reports from the International Railways of Central America indicate that until its retirement, this Edwards Rail Car proved to be a reliable and mechanical sound machine.

Today, as in 1938, Edwards can build this same car with all the unique Art Deco features found in the original. This is accomplished by using the original erection drawings, mechanical and interior specifications as produced in 1938.

Without the need for a locomotive to pull the standard rail car, railroad officials may now travel over their roads in the most unique and reliable fashion.
